Professionally, I am a qualified accountant, CPA, registered tax & ASIC agent and certified Xero advisor. My motto is “if something is good enough for my client, it is good enough for me,” so you won’t catch me slinging any advice your way I wouldn’t use myself.

I see myself as a business partner first and an accountant second, because when we work together my focus will be helping your business succeed, assisting you to build wealth and making sure I provide you with sound, honest and practical advice. My goal is to achieve the best outcomes for your business.

With over 15 years of experience, I specialise in dealing with SME businesses, family groups, high net worth individuals and SMSFs. I have a dream-team network of professional contacts to support our efforts in getting you the best outcome. This includes financial advisors, lawyers, mortgage brokers, insurance brokers, real estate agents and migration agents. No industry is too big or too small – from professional and personal services, to heathcare and hospitality, to building, retail and arts, I have worked with clients from a huge range of professional backgrounds and walks of life.

All that being said, no Ryan Gosling would be complete without his Eva Mendes, nor would I be complete without my amazing wife, Amy. With her support, I established R&A Tax and Business Services in 2021, and it is truly a team effort. Amy is a CPA and a wizard in the commercial accounting arena.

Being a COVID era startup, we understand the need for flexibility and a work/life balance, that is why we whole-heartedly embrace the ‘work anywhere’ mentality. You won’t find us in a dedicated brick-and-mortar office, instead you will find us on Zoom or in a number of meeting rooms located across Melbourne. We know modern professionals in the digital age need a modern approach to their accounting needs, so we utilise a cloud-based accounting software and store all data securely online, so we can meet anywhere you have an internet connection!
